Phase II - Demonstration

NADEP-JAX provided a P-3 Orion at NAS-Jacksonville, FL. The Mobile Manipulator was provide by PaR Systems, Inc. based on the last iteration of the 3-D Simulation. A FLASHJET Stripping Head was attached.

A comparison of actual reach and accessibility was performed on the P-3 Orion. Results below show substantial gains over the simulation, with few losses.

Although still slightly short of the reach ability goal of 90%, turn around goals appear realistic.

The successful completion of Phase II has made Phase III possible.

Phase II Demonstration - Results

	Gray (light and dark) and Yellow (light and dark) Areas show reachable areas from Phase I Simulation
	Red Areas are additional reachable areas demonstrated in Phase II.
	Green Areas are obstructions (non-reachable) not known/considered in simulation
